Proposition 65 Warning

Auri Nutrition's Statement

At Auri Nutrition, we believe in transparency and empowering our customers with the information they need to make informed decisions. The State of California requires companies to provide warnings about products that may expose consumers to certain chemicals. Proposition 65 does not ban the sale of products containing these chemicals; it only requires that a clear warning be provided.

We are a socially responsible and transparent company, and we are sharing this warning so you can make well-informed choices.

WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals, including lead, which are known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. For more information, go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.

What is this warning?
Proposition 65 (Prop 65) is a state law in California that requires warnings about products containing chemicals identified by the State of California as causing cancer or reproductive harm. These warnings are common in California—not only on consumer products but also in restaurants, grocery stores, and public places. California is the only state to mandate such warnings.

The warning includes both cancer and birth defects and/or reproductive harm because trace levels of certain substances found in our products are listed as Prop 65 chemicals. These substances can occur naturally in botanical ingredients, teas, mushroom powders, and collagen peptides.

Should I be concerned?
The Prop 65 list includes over 800 chemicals, with more added regularly. Many are naturally occurring and are present in small amounts in foods and beverages consumed every day. This includes everyday substances like retinol (vitamin A), alcoholic beverages, and even common minerals. Lead, for example, is a naturally occurring element found in soil and water, and it often shows up in trace amounts in plant-based and marine-based ingredients.

At Auri Nutrition, all of our products comply with all FDA requirements for safety and quality.

Why don’t all similar products have the same warning?
Some reputable brands, like Four Sigmatic and Mud/Wtr, also carry Prop 65 warnings. Other companies may not include these warnings for a variety of reasons: they may be small enough not to fall under enforcement thresholds, they may rely on inconsistent enforcement, or they may have chosen not to display the warning. However, the absence of a Prop 65 warning on a product does not guarantee it is free from these substances.

We choose to be transparent and proactive to help our customers make informed decisions.
